We're a family run business that values all members of our team (seasonal and permanent) as critical to our success.
Our team is multinational, and many have worked with us for over 15 years!
We invest in your training (no experience required when you join us) and provide flexibility to ensure you're able to balance work with other commitments—whether that's family, or traveling the wonders of New Zealand.
Most of the year! Our peak times for hiring are:
January to March: high demand for labour - getting the crop ready for harvest
June to September: high demand for labour - winter pruning preparing for flower buds!
October to December: very high demand for labour - buds, flowers, fruit!
If you're looking for work outside these periods, chances are we'll have something available too. So don't hesitate to get in touch today.
The work changes throughout the year as our crops grow. The main tasks in each of the growing seasons for our kiwifruit are:
June-September: winter pruning, maintenance
October-December: bud thinning, tipping, flower picking, girdling, and male pruning
January-March: canopy management, girdling, male pruning, fruit thinning
Harvest (fruit picking) is typically between late March - early May. We work with respected contractors to pick our fruit, and can recommend these employers to you if you're specifically looking for fruit picking work.
To be eligible to work in New Zealand, you will need to be 18 years or older, a NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid NZ Work Visa, or Student Visa.

You will need to provide:
proof of identity (passport or drivers license)
NZ Inland Revenue (IRD) number, and
New Zealand bank account number.
No, but we can connect you with some leading kiwifruit picking contractors in the area. We use these contractors to pick our fruit, and they can usually offer you full time work throughout the picking season that spans from March to May.
We're located at Billing Road, R.D.6, Te Puke - a short drive inland from Pukehina Beach.
We're a 20 minute drive to Te Puke, and 40 minutes from Mt Maunganui, Tauranga and Whakatane. Rotorua (world renowned geothermal area) is just an hour south from us.
